The agreement between you and Townsquare Systems Ltd. when you shop on Townsquar.

1. Who we are

Townsquar is an online marketplace operated by Townsquare Systems Ltd., a company registered in Ghana ("Townsquar", "we", "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Townsquar website at townsquar.com, our mobile applications, and the services we provide through them (together, the "Service").

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund & Return Policy, which form part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • We may suspend or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms.

4. How the marketplace works

Products on Townsquar are listed and sold by independent third-party sellers. Townsquar operates the marketplace and manages the order end to end on the seller's behalf: we collect your payment, pick the item up from the seller, verify Standard orders at our fulfilment hubs, package them, deliver them, and provide customer service — including returns and refunds under our Refund & Return Policy.

Sellers are independent businesses and are responsible for their listings, including the accuracy of product descriptions and the authenticity and legality of their products. We vet sellers before they can list and verify Standard orders physically before dispatch, but we do not manufacture the products sold on the marketplace.

5. Orders, prices and availability

  • All prices are shown in Ghana Cedis (GHS). Delivery fees are shown separately at checkout before you pay.
  • An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it — but if an item is unavailable, fails our quality verification, or was listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the affected item and refund you in full.
  • Product images are as accurate as we can make them; minor variations (for example in colour rendering) can occur.

6. Payment

Payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed third-party payment provider. We accept Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AT Money) and Visa/Mastercard cards. By placing an order you authorise the charge for the total shown at checkout. We may run reasonable fraud checks and refuse or cancel orders that fail them.

7. Delivery

We deliver across Ghana using our own logistics network. Delivery timelines shown at checkout (including Standard 1–3 days and same-day Express where available) are estimates made in good faith, not guarantees. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery. Please ensure your address and phone number are accurate — we may return an order to our hub if we cannot reach you after reasonable attempts.

8. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You may cancel an order free of charge before it is picked up from the seller. After delivery, returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Return Policy, which sets out the return windows (3 days for change of mind, 14 days for faulty or not-as-described items), the conditions, and the refund timelines. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under Ghanaian consumer protection law.

9. Reviews and content you post

  • Only customers whose order has been delivered may review a product, and reviews must reflect your honest experience.
  • You must not post content that is unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or that infringes anyone's rights.
  • By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Service. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose;
  • interfere with the operation of the Service, or access it by automated means such as scraping or bots;
  • abuse our returns process, for example by returning a different item than the one delivered;
  • harass, threaten or defraud other users, sellers, or our staff and riders.

11. Selling on Townsquar

Sellers are admitted by application and vetting, and their relationship with us is governed by a separate seller agreement. If you would like to sell on Townsquar, apply at partner.townsquar.com/sell.

12. Intellectual property

The Townsquar name, logo, website, apps and all content we create are the property of Townsquare Systems Ltd. or our licensors. You may not use our branding without our prior written consent. Product images and descriptions belong to their respective owners.

13. Our liability

We provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profit or opportunity), and our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of Ghana, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

How we collect and use your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its "Last updated" date, and material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you have a problem, please contact us first — most issues are resolved quickly by our support team.
